Greetings one and all! Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, let's get down to business...

As one of many American servicemembers overseas, I have a somewhat different perspective on the world in general and the Middle East in specific than most will get from the media. No, I don't serve to make some politician's cronies wealthier. I don't fight for oil. I am helping a less fortunate people get some of those "inalienable rights" those human rights people are always whining about. I serve so they can live freely and sleep in peace.

If you don't like that or cannot understand, get over it. Meanwhile, I have a job to do, so stop griping about my doing it.
