First Strike

Ladies and Gentlemen, and assorted other carbon-based lifeforms, here is my first "let's all point and laugh" attack aimed at urban asininity. Check this out, if you dare!

What is the deal with the "thug life" hip-hop mentality??? Who in their right mind can possibly WANT to glorify a life of ignorance, dope-peddling, and pointless violence? It's like one day, a bunch of guys got together and said, "I enjoy being shot at, spending time in jail, having kids with 8 different mothers, and generally wading in the shallow end of the gene pool! Let's glorify this!" And THEN, to make matters WORSE, we buy into the marketing ploys based on the fact that if you talk into a microphone fast enough with enough bass, you actually have musical talent. I could list names, but I don't need to. You can find them easily enough on MTV and BET.

Yes, point and laugh at a group of people dumb enough to think that a welfare-supported ghetto-based existence is cool. Then laugh at everyone who actually has a better quality of life that buys into this crap.

And people wonder why "The Dukes of Hazzard" is still popular?
